Stockport Progress and Recovery Centre (S.P.A.R.C.)
Based here in Stockport SPARC are the first and longest-running service within the CORS database. SPARC were our pilot scheme that helped define how the system works. With SPARC activities recorded as far back as late 2009, SPARC came with us as we moved the system up into the cloud in November 2011. The following year, 2012 saw the arrival of new developments such as the ‘Billing Manager’ (to address ‘Self-Directed Support’), Volunteer Manager and our web-based components ‘CORS Remote Contact’ and ‘Outcome Review Questionnaire’ (accessible by smartphone/iPad etc).
Our first installation outside of England – and looks to be the first of many more organisations from Scotland set to join the Outcome Reporting gang! We have been excited to discover how forward-thinking Scottish organisations are – Karen’s blog (here) recounts the contrast she experienced when one week she was at a meeting in the Scottish Parliament Building and the next week she was in the Houses of Parliament.
